Share in our efforts to save these endangered animals. They have very special needs, as they come from a unique environment. Not only does quality care take hard work and dedication -- it's expensive! As an adopter for a year, your contribution will help ensure a bright future for these beautiful and remarkable animals.

Each year our staff chooses an individual animal from each adoptable species. If you wish to adopt a ring-tailed lemur you will receive information on the ring-tailed species and a life history of that year's chosen animal, giving you a chance to get to know a variety of lemurs at the Center. You pick the species you would like to support and we will do the rest. All adopted animals remain in the care and custody of the Duke Lemur Center and no ownership rights are granted through adoption. When you adopt you will receive via the US Postal system:

You can adopt by printing and mailing or faxing (919-490-5394) this form.  For additional information or to adopt by telephone contact Lari Hatley at 919-489-3364 x 252 or lari.hatley@duke.edu
