Research projects can be conducted in the caged areas or the natural habitat enclosures. Most caged runs have indoor and outdoor access, and observations can be conducted on the animals year-round. Natural Habitat Enclosures (NHE) range in size from approximately 2.5 acres to 17 acres. Animals free-range in the 5 NHE's during the summer and fall months.

Projects involving equipment set-up can be conducted in a designated research room, where animals can be shuttled back and forth during experiment times.

Laboratory space, including access to microscopes and a fume hood, is located in the main building. This space can be used by researchers to conduct their work or store additional laboratory equipment.

Classroom and conference rooms are also available onsite.
